The DoDT guide has been extremely helpful. I found myself stuck halfway through my second draft. The guide helped establish my characters wants, beliefs, fears and wound that has set me on the right path to get the second draft done. I wish I had this during my first draft. It's very succinct so easy to navigate and action straight away. Super motivating! I would highly recommend getting this guide!

I thought your guide was very informative, inspiring and easy to follow. I especially loved your North Star sentence recommendation I thought that was very unique and helpful. As are your H.A.R.D. and D.O.N.E. mantras.

Clearly you put a lot of work into it, and your experience shows. Thank you very much for offering it! I think it would be very useful if I were more advanced in my writing. In looking it over, I'm beginning to think that I enjoy "turning a phrase" more than building a plot. I like to play with words, and occasionally write an essay or a poem. But I may never write longer works, and I'm okay with that. Thank you for the guide! I will keep this handy, because there is much to learn here.

Oh, I absolutely loved the layout, and I felt like the pacing use of "3's" was very well executed and easy to understand! (I see the "3 sins" all the time and want to avoid them in my own work.) I'm very novice with fighting scenes, so I found all the advice incredibly helpful! (l'd have to go over it a few more times to have any specific notes. But, in my first read through, I found it all fabulously well done!

It's very helpful! I still have to dive deep into it and apply the method to my writing. I am finishing my novel at the moment and felt a bit stuck but you guide already helped me get back into the rhythm!

I devoured the guide and learned a great deal, thank you for creating it and sending it out into the world to support writers like me who are following a dream of one day being published. I found it incredibly helpful - reinforcing many things I had previously learned in new ways with impactful language that really resonated with me. I found the short, succinct examples provided with many of the points to be particularly helpful in ensuring comprehension. I've printed the full guide to keep on hand nearby to reference periodically to ensure I'm not veering off course or tromping into the weeds of over-world building/"and then" flow/etc etc. As I read through the guide for the first time, I kept drawing connections between the points you made and a book I'm currently reading that has a huge fan base - and it makes sense, logistically, why it is so successful because the author demonstrated mastery of everything your guide outlines. It's a true wealth of information - thank you again!

Brilliant! Honestly for me progress has been SLOW. I couldn't tell if I lacked dedication time or talent, though this helps me SO much and I think I can half my drafting time. It was strong and direct like any guide should be, and simplified the complicated topics in a really good way. 10/10 loved it!

Hi! I did read it. Honestly it is really good and clearly explained. I liked the exmaples because it helped me understand it much better. If I had one comment, is that I would have love to have more prose examples. I understand the concept and ideally I woud love to see an example of the how-to do it. That is all, besides that it is very good guide. Thank you!
